I am a photographer based out of the Olympic Peninsula in the beautiful and infamous Pacific Northwest. I am available for travel all over the USA.
My style is anything but traditional, I am urban, edgy, vintage and so much more! My images are all about emotion,expression and ART. to me, a photograph is a way to capture who you are, not just what you look like. I want to see the excitement in your eyes as we photograph the baby bump, the fear and wonder as I photograph the new daddy with his baby....the love between a couple about to take the world by storm as they walk down loves aisle.... and I want you to see the individual personalities in the family portrait. Who is shy, who is stubborn and who is the jokester. Nothing makes me feel more successful than when a mom can't believe I got her child to smile or laugh or make "that face" the one they see so often in everyday life. It's about connecting to my clients and making them more than clients, turning them into friends.
Personal life: I am a professional photographer, a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend....but not always in that order. My favorite color is green, my favorite number is 52 and I am not a fan of chocolate. I watch football with my husband, I let my dogs sleep on my bed. I am certain I have a little OCD, ADHD - both of which help me get my jobs done, so I am not complaining.
I have been married to my husband since July 1988, he is my rock. He makes me laugh and keeps me going when I need a little push. We have six children, two we made ourselves and after being foster parents to over 50 children in the system, we decided we would move our status to foster/adopt parents and faster than we knew it, four children in need of forever homes we placed with us.It is not who they are, its how they became part of our family. And I just recently have been moved to grandma status with my oldest son, Jared's new baby boy being born March 2009 and now his new baby girl will arrive in February 2012. Being a grandma is wonderful and exciting and especially nice when I get those calls from my son asking me what to do , when his sweet little man is acting just like he did and doing something naughty!
Our life has been such an adventure and I wouldn't trade a minute of it.

I was very honored to get to shoot Miss Anna and her husband Justin. Anna picked Salt Creek for her maternity shoot because it held many fond memories of her childhood. It is also very beautiful. Anna braved the mist and freezing spring temperatures and it payed off, her images are stunning!! I am very excited to meet sweet little baby.

Pricing for sessions.
Traditional photography is not my style, if you are looking for that I may not be the right choice for you.
Please look through my pricing and feel free to ask any questions you may have before you book your session. Space is often limited and I am booked sometimes months in advance. Keep this in mind when you decide to schedule.
Investments
The amount you will invest in your premier portraits and fine art is a matter of each individual’s personal preference. It depends largely on what type of collection you are looking for: digital, prints or canvas. As well as which boutique items you want to add on; coffee table books, sterling silver photo jewelry, picture perfect handbags and other items offered that are exclusive to my studio.
Retainer Fees for portrait sessions are as follows:
Session fees are for reserving your date and time, the photographer’s time and creative vision, editing portraits, uploading and hosting online gallery.The retainer is non refundable, but will be applied to reschedules if necessary and at least 24 hours notice is given.Prints are not included unless specified in a promotion.

Children, Individuals, Couples, High School Seniors and urban dog Sessions:
mini will offer you a 30-45 minute session- $50
full will offer you up to 2 hours for a session $100
Wedding Pricing available upon request. starting at $350 per hour for time and files only.
mini session CD with session images is $250.00
Full Session CD with session images is $350.00
these allow you to use your images to make your own prints.
Portrait prints start at $25 and go up.
